Teachers are stretching to get warmed up for the basketball game. They also practiced throwing free shots, as well as the students (the basketball team).

Teachers won at the Students vs. Teachers basketball game that took place in Animo Jefferson’s gym this February, twenty-first.

The teacher’s team was represented by several different departments, including vice principal, James Carbajal. The student’s team was the Animo Jefferson basketball team.

Student Council treasurer, Alejandro Salas said, that he expected the students to win because the teachers said that they weren’t prepared and that he was disappointed because he wanted the students to win.

English teacher Teresa Vorgias said, “I  thought that both teams played very well and I was happy that the teachers won.”

The basketball team tried their best and worked really hard to beat the teachers, but it just wasn’t enough. The teachers won with a score of 33-21.
