A classroom library.

In San Antonio, a library is being made without books. Instead of books, the library is a completely digital public library. This is the reaction of four students and a  teacher who were interviewed about their opinion of this.

Hugo Equizabal, eighth grader, says this will be good for us,”…because we get more experience with tech instead of books.”

Angel Ramerez, eighth grader, says, “It’s a good idea because people can go in and search up whatever they need help on.”

Eighth grader Jonathan Santillan thinks that, “… we are going to spend more money with technology rather than searching for it up in a encyclopedia.”

Jesus Vega, eighth grader, says, “I think this will appeal to newer generations because newer generations are getting used to using technology.”

Teresa Vorgias, English teacher, says, “(it) Makes me concerned because books in libraries are free and some people might not have internet to read them.” And also, “It might get kids who enjoy electronics to read if they have electronic devices.”
