On Thursday March 27, workers came to Animo Jefferson Middle School and explained what their profession was in career day.

The workers presented in their chosen advisory. They explained their profession to the students and showed them a sample of what they did. One of the presenters in Mr Lo’s advisory class was Andrew Racho, who is a voice over actor. His job is to act out voices for cartoons, games, and animations. One of his famous cartoon participation was Robot Chicken. He explained to the class that he was one of the characters in Robot Chicken. He also showed the class his zombie interpretation for a game he was working on.

Seventh grader, Kayley Betancourt, said, “I liked the presenter because he was funny, loud, and he wasn’t shy. He made cool voices and had a pretty interesting job.” She said that she wasn’t inspired by him because she felt that her life and experience wasn’t right for this profession. She also said that she didn’t like this career that much because its salary varies if you have a project to work on.
