This years eighth grade class has students that aren’t looking forward to going to the dance and don’t want to go. There are many reasons why, for example some people think the ticket is too expensive just for a school dance or they just don’t want to go because their friends are not.

Oscar Coxaj, eighth grader at Anim0 Jefferson Charter Middle School said, “I really wasn’t looking forward to the eighth grade dance because I’m not really into dances or dressing up fancy.”

Jesus Hernandez, eighth grader at AJCMS said, “I don’t like dressing up fancy and it isn’t my style and my friends aren’t going so why should I go?”

Julian Ramirez, eighth grader at AJCMS said, “I’m going to the dance but I would like my friends to go because its going to be memorable.”

Many eighth graders are going but many that aren’t going, their reasons are because they don’t dress fancy or their friends aren’t going. Tickets are still being sold until Tuesday May 28 for $25. Speak to Ms.Vorgias or the main office for more information or questions.
