Science Fair projects

Physical science teacher Maria Solis, has given her students science fair projects to work on.

Eighth grader, Christian Orrego says,”It took me one day to build my finished product and no I didn’t like the project  because I was behind most of the time and the topic I researched  wasn’t very interesting.”

Solis said,”Yes majority of the students worked hard on the project.”

The project was about experiments they had to do to answer a scientific question. An example would be “What type of surface reflects light the most?”They had to do seven steps to the project which are the Title, Hypothesis, Background research, Materials, Procedures,  Data, results, conclusion, Acknowledgements, and Bibliography. Some students had a hard time coming up with the hypothesis and others worked on the project for about 4 hours or a day.
