In Roald Dahl’s book The BFG, a Big Friendly Giant is a giant who helps give dreams to others. He also doesn’t feed on humans like the rest of the giants.  Instead, he feeds on a vegetable called snozzle cucumber that is a disgusting vegetable. 

I like how in the book The BFG is able to face his fear of the other giants thanks to Sophia. I suggest that the book should talk more about problems that the BFG went through and how hard it was before he met Sophia. 

A problem that the BFG faced in the book was he was being messed around with by the other giants. When he met Sophia, she told him to face his fears and to stop them from eating more humans. They went to England to stop them from eating more humans. They planned to tell the queen, hoping that she would help them and do something about this. They thought of many ways to make it sound like what they were saying was believable. 

When they made it sound believable to the queen, she helped them with troops to capture the giants. The book includes many things that they had to go through in order to make it happen and how to make it sound believable to the queen. When they captured the giants, they made a big hole in order for them to be stuck under there. They would feed them only vegetables so they didn’t starve but help them feel what the BFG went through.

I personally believe that this book has a really great ending because it shows us how the BFG overcame his fear of the giants. It showed us how the BFG got lots of recognition and was treated better after the giants were taken care of.

I would recommend this book to someone who likes a book with lots of plot twists. I think I would recommend this book to someone who likes lot of plot twists because this book has many things that go on. For example, when Sophie gets kidnapped she first thinks she is going to get kidnapped but in the end she actually met a giant that was really nice.
